I am back for a couple more SnapSeal mugs.I bought a set of two a couple years ago on QVC. I have used them daily since. The cap has begun to leak on the one I use as my cold liquid mug, and that's my fault because it says no carbonated beverages. But for two years it has kept my soda chilled without having to use ice. I only had to be careful when I opened the Vent! I even closed the vent and threw it in my bag without worry of seeping or spillage. The other mug was used occasionally for coffee and it stayed hot as long as I was willing to sip on it..But I left it at a friend's house and he got attached to it before I could retrieve it. I don't want to be without my Contigos.

Love the mug, not sure of the lidI have a few of the original mugs with the original lids and absolutely love them. Recommend them hands down. But I got this mug yesterday, and not so sure about this lid (love the mug though, keeps cold things cold for a long time).. I feel like there isn't much of an indention in the lid and my nose feels like it's in the way (and I don't have a big nose). Because of that, I've dribbled some water trying to get use to it. I have no problem with the original lids with my nose. My lid also feels like it doesn't screw on so easily. I'm hoping that will get better with time.

4 hours hot...I just purchased this mug and I have tried ALOT of travel mugs, and an hour after I'm at work my coffee is cold with the others and I have quite a collection, but this cup is nothing short of AWESOME 4 hours so far and it's still hot!! It's a 7 hour hot mug so I have faith usually after 4 hours my coffee would be gone anyway, but this was a test run and it's the best mug I've ever bought to date!! Next I will have to get one for water and see how it works, long story short it's worth it and I'm very happy thanks!!

Pretty good, except for the rubber stopperI've had this mug for 2+ years now, and it remains a favorite as the body is easy to clean and has a wide mouth to put ice in. It also keeps my drink either hot or cold for a long time without condensation on the outside. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to clean the rubber stopper and the gasket of the lid so after some time, it started to smell a bit funky and the stopper discolored. I don't drink out of the lid anymore, I just unscrew it and drink directly because of this. I do rinse and dry the lid separately from the body, so I don't understand how this happened. I tried soaking it in hot water with baking soda to no avail, and brushing it has similarly achieved nothing. I still use it though, but it would be great if I could get a replacement stopper and gasket.

Byron 20 oz ROCKS!Interestingly enough the temperature in my regular coffee cup would be luke warm within minutes. So much so that I have been seriously researching percolators. After almost giving up on my coffee maker and buying a percolator I poured my first of many morning coffees in to my new contigo and almost burned my throat it was so hot. It stayed hot for as long as it took me to finish my 20 oz of gloriousness! Don't believe these negative reviews. Contigo saved me having to buy an expensive new coffee maker. Contigo you guys ROCK! I love this product so much I will be buying a 24 oz Byron for my Soda stream water. The seal is so good on these that my guess is you can keep carbonated beverages in them not only cold but without losing the fizz.

50 Shades of ContigoI do love this travel mug (I have 2). I don't leave home without it. My complaint isn't serious, but I do think it's noteworthy. I am a female that wears lipstick to work everyday. The 'Contigo' label trademark is imprinted on the lid at the very place your mouth goes. When cleaning the mug, you have to use a toothbrush to get the lipstick out of the embedded letters! Seems like the label could have gone elsewhere on the lid. That's my rant.

Great for keeping coffee hot, hard to cleanI have 4 these, they keep my drink hot from 6 am till 5 pm ( I forgot it at home one day, and it was still warm when I opened it) my only complaint, when you wash the lids, yuck! The little ball that seals it is hard to get off and put on to clean it, and the rubber ring seal broke in a few uses when cleaning. WHERE ARE THE REPLACEMENTS PIECES TO BUY? I want to keep my cups, but need replacement parts or even lids.

Content stays hot but not possible to sip!Over all the mug is good and the content stays hot for hours. Anyway I would not recommend the mug as is because when I bought it one of the key features it was advertised for was the special lid that was supposed to provide a regular mug like sipping experience. The opposite is the case. The hot liquid flows directly into your mouth and you get burned. The problem is the convex shape of the edge of the lid where you have to sip. I already contacted contigo but I only got a standard answer mail back. This is now a few years ago. I would love to see an update! Until then I can not recommend this mug.
