Finally a great lid!
I've looked at different Contigo water bottles over the years and I had several. But the lids were always an issue. I always had problems finding one that really worked well and didn't require a lot of maintenance to clean. The Autopop lid finally provides the features I like.
The only drawback? This lid is not available by itself. I'd love to have this lid for some of the other Contigo bottles I have, and it would make me want to start using them again. It's the only reason I'm dropping a star from my review.

Best lid design ever!
This is the lid that finally makes sense. I have had many iterations of Contigo water bottles over the years, but this is the one that works best, is easiest to clean, and has no hard to reach parts that are impossible to change.

Great water bottle with some caveats
This is a good bottle. It's easier to clean than other lids and holds a lot. Here are my only gripes... The bottom is too wide to fit into most car cup holders (didn't think of that). There is a little rubber gasket inside the lid that you can't take off or clean under and a smell will get stuck in there, no matter how hard you try to clean it. Lastly, The first time I used this, I had sunscreen on my hands and it permanently etched the plastic so my bottle always looks dirty (it also dissolved the words printed on it). Weird reaction with the plastic.

FANTASTIC (but where is it sold?)
This is....maybe the best water bottle of all time. I LOVE it. Agreeing with other reviewers here - it's a fantastic lid design, it makes so much sense, it's incredibly easy to use and to clean (this makes such a difference!). I love the color - I got it in cucumber. My only complaint - I recently moved and left my water bottle (ugh!), and it's not sold anywhere! I originally got mine from Target, it's not sold there anymore (apparently?), and I can only find it in dragon fruit pink online. Hoping to be able to re-order!

The best water bottle
What it does well:
* no leaks
* a lock to prevent accidents
* easy to fill/clean
* handle -> so doesn’t roll away & I can clip it to backpacks
* looks: elegant. It also looks elegant enough when going somewhere nice.
* It is clear so I can see what is inside, etc.
* They are durable, don’t dent
* It is cheap, especially given I have 4 of these & use them every day. These could be $100 and still be a deal.
* fits in most cup holders. All the ones in my car.
* light weight when hiking
* it doesn’t keep things hot/cold, but I don’t use that feature
* it doesn’t absorb smells/tastes
* it is from a reputable brand I can trust (no bad chemicals from cheap no-name brands)
* easy to clean - this is a MAJOR selling point. so few parts, which means so little mold

My favorite!
I have had numerous water bottles over the years. This one is by far my favorite! I started with one by my bed, then a stainless steel one in this style for travel and hiking. I then got one of this style for work, and love it! I've had it for over a year now. I just wish I could get this style in the coriander color.

Great Bottle
My favorite part about this bottle is that the seal can lock preventing the top from opening. Great for in the car! The handle is a bit week though as the connection of mine broke on one hand making it hard for the handle to stay on the bottle. Otherwise, no complaints and easy to clean.

Both bottles I purchased had leaky lids. I always had water on my shirt after drinking from it. Both bottles. Finally tossed 'em and didn't replace them. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE FIRST JACKSON BOTTLE!
