Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bottle I have the 40oz bottle. Doesn’t leek and I’ve had it a few years. The only knock on it is that mold builds up underneath the rubber spout and it’s almost impossible to clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks For a water bottle that is supposed to be leakproof when closed it is not... I bought this bottle about a month ago and it started leaking a couple of days ago. I use it for my flavored water and now when I shake it to mix the flavor it makes a mess everywhere. So disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will never buy another water bottle again This bottle has everything I want and is literally the only bottle I found to meet my criteria. First is size, I need to drink throughout the day, so a water bottle I didn’t have to fill up as often but wasn’t too heavy was a must. Second, because I carry mine everywhere it had to be a clip on, this is like the only one I’ve seen with a clip on. And third, the straw is a screw on, meaning throughout the day you don’t have to open the lid and shove the straw back into place because it’s screwed on. I’ve had this water bottle for 6 years, through high school and after, dropped it many times, and brought it everywhere, and it didn’t break. The soft mouth piece and the auto spout features are also positives. This water bottle is fantastic!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fair Product I bought this water bottle to take with me all day in order to remain as hydrated as possible. This is a part of my efforts to prevent kidney stones. As a container containing g water and a permanent straw to suck said water. This bottle is just fine. Also, it is one liter in size and urologist recommend at least two liters of water per day to help prevent those miserable stones. So this bottle make it easy to maintain a clear sense of how much water one has had at any given time. With the loop on top of the bottle, it is easy to carry. But contigo’s insistence that this bottle is spill and leak proof is ludicrous. If it tips over, it leaks. This can be problematic in a car in motion. I’ve had the bottle fall from seat to floor and draining out all over the floor mat. Even a quick tip of the bottle is certain to result in a water spill of some sort. Tightening the cap makes little difference; the bottle still leaks. And if one adds a bit of lemon or flavoring as doctors recommend for kidney issues, the leaking bottle can leave a sticky spill. If this problem could be rectified, the product would be excellent and live up to its own advertising, but the leaking is a real problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great water bottle until mould forms in lid We have bought 8 of these bottles from Costco over the last 3 years. They are a good size and don't leak. The fact that you can't nt clean the plastic gasket where the straw screws in is terrible. We won't buy them anymore. I love the travel coffee cups and put up with the difficult cleaning, but they can be cleaned. The water bottle cannot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have been using this style water bottle for several years. The issue is that if the bottle falls on a wooden floor or ground, the handle to carry the bottle snaps off. I have gone through 4 bottles. No replacement is available that is reasonable priced which has been purchasing new bottles. I am considering looking at a different brand/style. I love the 32 oz size. Everything else about the bottle is awesome except the breaking of the handled.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks I have this bottle and the kids version. I LOVE the kids one. It’s doesn’t leak at all, you can turn it upside down with the spout open and nothing comes out... BUT this is the exact same bottle it leaks like crazy when turned upside down .. not sure how that’s possible.. but it’s super frustrating

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It leaks, a lot This water bottle was AMAZING when I got it for Christmas. I’m the type of person that goes EVERYWHERE with my water bottle so it is used a lot. But it started leaking about 2.5 months after getting it. Drips enough to soak the bottom of my sling bag and soak my legs. Disappointing because upright it’s really great lol.
