Perfect for my use.
Saved me many times from spilling my coffee. Not difficult to clean if you use a product such as Bottle Bright on a regular basis like once a week. Add the tablet, then turn mug upside down so it cleans the mechanism in the lid. I love the mug. Well designed, and made strong.

Great product for on the go people.
I’ve had my Contigo travel mug for over 10 years and this thing has not let me down. I do t use it all the time but when I do get in my kicks where I’m drinking coffee this keeps my coffee hot and spill proof for hours. Sometimes there will be some pressure that builds up so don’t have it pointing at your face when pushing the button. I will usually put it up to my mouth first if I’m in my car so it don’t spit coffee all over. If I’m out and about I’d let it vent away from me.

Commuter's Dream!
This travel mug is perfect for commuters. Not only does it keep the liquid appropriately hot or cold, but it doesn't leak! I can keep it my tote bag and even if it tips over, nothing spills.
It's great that I can use it with just one hand; it leaves my other hand free for holding my phone.

Great Travel Mug
I use this mug for my ride to work. I usually have my hands full and the Contigo tucked under my arm. I have yet to have a drop of coffee on my clothes as I did with other mugs. I also had problems with drips while drinking. I thought it might be me, but it does not happen with the Contigo.

Perfect travel mug
I have two autoseal travel mugs - one for my tea at work and one that I fill with ice then keep adding water all day. I have hot tea and cold water ALL day long and the seal doesn't leak - even when my backpack tips over in the car on the way to work!

Contigo Autoseal West Loop Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug is one of the best... but when the lid gets kind of dirty with fungus or something has to go to trashcan and it's being impossible to get a lid replacement....

Great Travel Coffee Mug
This coffee mug works like a charm. However, after about one-year of daily use, the rubber closure in the lid portion begins to wear down and starts leaking. I'm willing to replace the lid, but I see that the replacement lids are "Not Available". Will they be back in stock at some point or will I need to purchase a complete new mug? I like the mug and hate replace it if not necessary. Thank you!

Best adult Sippy Cup ever!
I love these mugs. I have issues with my grip strength and will randomly drop things. This is awful when it comes to beverages. Because you need to press the button in order to open up the flow, I rarely spill anything when I drop it. The metal outside is so helpful as well. My mugs are all dinged up but they still work perfectly.
The only down side is that the tiny piece of rubber that seals the mug tends to wear or and can even start to mold. I do smoky out the cup and rinse it out but it starts to mold in cracks of the rubber piece. I had been removing it to clean but then it started to rip apart. I have not been able to find just that piece for replacement. It is still worth it for me to purchase new ones though. The money I save on spilled coffee and broken mugs is well worth it.
Side note: if someone knows where I could find just the replacement mouth seal piece, that would be amazing.

Blue Matt finish 16oz AUTOSEAL travel mug
I gifted the autoseal West loop vaccuum seal insulated stainless steel travel 16oz mug to my husband. We have always been a fan of contigo. I love that these travel mugs keep drinks warm or cold for more than 6 hours. This particular style is easy to wash and I like that it is an autoseal. We also really liked that the color had a matt finish on it.

Best Water bottle ever!
Good Evening
On Aug 23, I took this water bottle in Lake Erie for a day of floating, and the Lake was very choppy and the bottle got completely SUBMERGED and the seal stayed intact and NO lake water went into the bottle.
I would completely recommend this bottle!

Do better for the environment & your own sales
Did love the grace ability of it but the fact they don’t have replacement lids is honestly not acceptable as a company. How environmentally irresponsible especially when I’d buy the lid. It’s wasteful and shortsighted of the sales team to not have extra sales parts.

The workhorse of Contigo mugs
Brilliant design. The lip is perfect and doesn’t bring a ton of hot coffee to my lips all at once (I’ve had this issue with one another Contigo mug which had a different design.) I’ve had this for years and it works very well to keep the coffee hot and taste good!

Best travel mug EVER!
This is my 4th or 5th West Loop travel mug and I still love it. It keeps my hot drinks hot and my cold drinks cold for hours. I finally had to replace the rubber stopper in the lid today. I just ordered replacement stoppers literally for the first time in years and years. If this product ever goes away, I'll be very sad because it's my go-to gift for friends. I'm disappointed that I can't find it anywhere but Amazon now. I think Meijer still sells the twin pack, but they're grossly overpriced there.

Best travel mug design!
This is a fantastic travel mug,
-keeps drinks cool or hot for a good amount of time
-safer than anything else around kids
-very comfortable and natural to use
-pretty tough, I use it every day and drop it a lot, my last one lasted 3 or so years with daily drops/nocks
for cleaning i put the the lid in the dishwasher, if you don't have a dishwasher you can soak it in an alkaline cleaner, i use to use my homebrew cleaner (sodium percarbonate) and it comes up shinny as new with out any scrubbing

Cleaning the lid and the exterior coming off
i had this mug for a long time. When i clean the lid it always hard to get into those tight spaces in the lid. I just wish they can make lid easier to clean. Contigo make your lids easier to clean and the exterior is coming off.

Best hot and cold beverage keeper ever
I absolutely love how all day I can keep my drink cold for a whole work day. And no sweating of the container. Even during the winter I can make my hot chocolate in the morning and it ststs hot thru my morning work. If you leave your cold beverage in your hot car with ice in it come back hours later still has ice in it. Love love love it. Have bought many for friends and family. My brother in law drives for the city plowing in the winter he will not be without it for his coffee.

Dribbles liquid - defect or design flaw?
It leaks! More specifically, it dribbles liquid down the side from the large button after each sip. I had high expectations for this commuter mug given the many positive reviews and ratings. It's hugely disappointing: hard to drink from (which I could get around), but also dribbles liquid down the side from the button at the end of each sip. Not sure if mine is simply defective, but this is a show-stopper. I'll be returning it and looking to a different brand.

all of the contigo coffee mugs are garbage
all the mugs have black paint on the inside area. This is in direct contact with whatever you're drinking. The black paint flakes off after a month or two. Those black flakes of paint end up in your beverage. And, now you're drinking the paint. Horrible! This is toxic and may even be deadly. All of the coffee mugs have this problem. People are getting sick from ingesting toxic paint. Remove the substance from your products.

Don't waste your money
This was my favorite coffee mug for YEARS! I recommended to all my family and friends. However the quality has gone downhill so bad that I can't do that anymore. I have gone through 7 in the last year because the auto seal lids just quit working. I used to be able to get a replacement lid but even that has been taken away. I bought 2 less than a month ago and they are already junk. SO disappointed in a once great product

Best Lid on the Market
I have had multiple travel mugs with West Loop original and 2.0 versions. The one-hand operation is by far the simplest and easiest to operate yet keeps the contents in the mug. I have checked and have not found a competitor to the lid functionality. The original West Loop lids would only last a few years before the button would break but 2.0 seems to be much better. Unfortunately the plastic cannot withstand a direct drop to a hard surface when full of coffee and the "rubber" seal at the spout can wear and drip (luckily there are 3rd party seals available on Amazon). The stainless steel body are basically indestructible except I have had a few that had problems with the paint chipping off near the top during hand washing. In the past replacement lids were available for purchase which allowed me to still use my 15 year old stainless steel body (some worn paint) still in 2025.

Lid failure, environmental failure
The lids have failed me 3 times! If I could buy replacement lids would be waaaaay better than once again have a useless stainless steel container that I will have to discard. The lids that have the lock feature just don’t last. I realize you must build this failure into your product to ensure future sales but really! Just let me order new lids when I need them!

Great Mug, Just to tall for coffee machine
I love this mug as been using it for just over a year.
I bought it for the Autoseal as my workspace only allows this feature.
Only problem is that it is too tall for the work Coffee machine, as I have to use another cup to make it, then put in to the Mug.
Can you design one around 1.5 inches shorter and just widen it so it stays the same quantity.
