The best sealing, most versatile cup ever
Easiest for my arthritic hands to use, right or left. Like tucking handle into my pocket or purse. Never leaked, so I will put entire cup into my tote.Yes, after 4 or 5 years spring began to fail. Certainly got my money’s worth.

Don't buy it!
This new 1 let's out a tiny trickle of coffee! The Randolph was a five out of five! Bring back the Randolph bc I need to buy a few since I lost a couple I had for years!. So irritating I paid for this new one and it's unusable!

Great product expect the lid
Lie everyone else says I have 2 of these that I purchased at Walmart. Best cup for a long commute however within 3 months neither lid will open with the button. Lid cannot be replaced and should not wear out in 90 days

I absolutely love this thermos, it is very nice looking and sleek. The design is simple and the lid locks with the switch of a button. The temperature maintains hot and cold temps for a long time with this insulated mug.

Button Failure
Experienced the same problem as everybody else just a little short of a year of use! Even spilled hot coffee on myself because one of the two holes was slightly more open than the one from which I was trying to drink.

Bring back the Randolph autoseal travel mug
I bought 2 of these only because my son took my Randolph autoseal ones and I can't find those anywhere. Can't believe you replaced the Randolph with these. They are too hard to operate one handed with disabilities.

Love all the features just not the design.
I like the cup- really loved the previous cup with the same features but no longer available. My only concern is it now leaks from the air port area. Cannot figure out how to stop it. Cannot find a replacement lid.

Great customer service.
I have a lot of Contigo mugs, from the Handled Autoseal, to various sized West Loop Autoseal mugs. I also have other types of mugs and water bottles from Contigo. While I've had some issues with the painted ones chipping, they hold up really well for me.
I recently had an issue with my handled autoseal mug, that I've had for years. The lid was no longer opening properly and nothing was coming out when I squeezed. I was simply going to buy a new lid, but couldn't find them for sale anywhere, not even on this site, so I filled out a form under the lifetime warranty, for a replacement lid. Within 15 minutes or less, I had an email from the company with a shipment order for an entirely new mug. It arrived in two days, at my door. I was astounded at the efficiency of their response. I simply uploaded a few pictures and that was that. The best customer service that I've ever had from a company, period, hands down, drop the mic and walk away. I'm only giving a slightly lower rating on design and quality, because of the paint finish chipping on the older models that I have.

Absolutely love Contigo products including this mug, but just as everyone else the lid quote working. The button no longer opens the seals. If they could perfect this it would be the best coffee mug ever made.

Thumb lock won't open plungers
I love my travel mug, especially since it is spill proof. Recently the thumb release has stopped opening the lid. Nothing comes out. I have tried finding a replacement lid, but no luck. Any way to replace lid?

Great cup, bad lid
Really like this cup, especially the handle and auto seal lid. However, after 6 months I noticed less and less coffee coming out until now it’s barely a drop. Had to go back to my 10 year old Thermos cup.

Definite Design Flaw
My daughter and I each bought a Contigo Handled Autoseal Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Easy-Clean Lid to take our coffees in the car while on the way to work. Especially loved the idea of having a handle and being able to drink from either side as I'm left-handed, to say nothing of the non-spilling aspect. And the coffee stayed hot for several hours. I started having the same issues that many others seemed to have with the rubber seals not releasing. This morning, my daughter burnt her face with hot coffee because the rubber seals did not release, and coffee came out of the vent instead. I didn’t think much after one cup stop working (neither were ever put in the dishwasher; they were always washed by hand), but when the other one has the exact same issue, but with disastrous results, it seems to be too much of a coincidence. I came on this site looking for replacement lids, but apparently replacement lids are not sold separately. It seems a shame to throw away a whole unit because of an obvious design flaw, without any way to fix the issue. We both loved the cups, that was until we didn’t (after they quit working correctly).
