Rated 3 out of 5 by from GREAT BOTTLE, BUT THE LID STINKS! I love this product, The only problem is that i've bought 3 of them and 2 lids have broken within 6 months. They've broken in such a way, that they can't be fixed. The little plastic piece that privots the piece to open anc close the sip holes broken. It okay I guess though, at lease it's broken closed

Why in the world would you make the centre bridge in the lid higher in the middle? I have had this older version for over 7 years and is still works great. I have accidentally topped it over and never a spill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lid Needs a Redesign This mug keeps my drinks hot or cold. I love how the lid works - WHEN it works. I've had two lids now stop working when the button on the handle is pressed. The mechanism stops working and the seals don't open, such that I tend to tip my drink further and end up with coffee leaking out the vent.

The handle is comfortable, it’s small enough to fit in cup holders, keeps my coffee hot for hours, love that you can drink out of either side. I just wish there were more colors available, specifically the pink one. Bring that color back! Thanks

The first one I purchased lasted over a year and then nothing would pour out the lid so I bought another one but it only lasted a few months before the same problem of not pourong out the lid appeared. very frustrating for a cup this expensive.

Contigo is my favorite mug and I recently got rid of all other containers. Nothing competes with their non-spill lid or their long-term maintaining of your desired temperature. You will LOVE it, too! Trust me.

I hsvr have tried to see what the problem is to no avail. Is there any way to get a replacement lid? I did buy another style but I would rather have the handled one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just wish the lid would last I love Contigo products, not only do I have several but I have bought several as gifts. I love this mug and the way it works. I had multiple Randolph versions before this and this mug is definitely an improvement. The lid is much easier to clean than the Randolph and the seal works great, at first. Unfortunately, like many others, I have found that the trigger mechanism wears out very fast. I use this literally every day. I have had mine for less than a year and now the seal won't open, and I stained a shirt from coffee spilling out of the vent and opposite drinking hole. I thought it was something I had done to it, but after reading the reviews I realize it is a common failing. Too bad, if it wasn't for that this would be almost perfect. I like it so much, I have still ordered another to replace it, but I am hoping they have fixed this issue or I may need to find a different product if this one wears out as quickly. I love the mug, but I consider this a quality issue, which is disappointing.

Reading the reviews I see this is a common problem for Contigo. If it was an isolated issue I would buy another, since it is not I will be purchasing a different brand.

I say this because customer service reacts very quickly and have replaced both over the last several months with their exceptional warranty!

Pushing the button on the handle no longer releases the liquid. Discouraging because the mug is otherwise still in excellent condition.

My third one of these and the thumb button wears out, the drink hole doesn't open enough so you're forced to tip the mug too far and liquid spills out of the air hole, down your cheek and onto your shirt!

Unfortunately the trigger opening mechanism has worn on two of them to the point where they do not open and as such are useless. I contacted Contigo two years after purchasing the last one regarding the warranty and did not hear back.

Unfortunately this model is similar to the previous where the spring wears out in a year and the hot coffee ends hp on your lap. Very disappointed that this costs as much as it does and won’t last longer than a year.

Has been difficult to get coffee out because the seal is not opening all the way. Today it actually dripped on me. If I could get another lid I will stay with this cup.

I use the AUTOSEAL® travel mug daily for my commute, and I appreciate that it keeps my coffee hot for an extended period of time. The controlled, push-button opening is especially convenient while driving, as it prevents spills and makes it easy to drink safely on the go. However, like several other reviewers have noted, the lid mechanism has unfortunately stopped working. This has been quite frustrating, particularly because I rely on this mug every day for my commute. I chose to spend a bit more on this product because of Contigo’s reputation for quality and durability, and up until the lid issue, it performed exactly as expected, Ideally, I would prefer to replace only the lid; however, that does not appear to be an available option. As a result, I am now searching for a replacement travel mug. Unfortunately, due to this experience with the lid failure, I am hesitant to invest in a higher-priced option again if I may ultimately need to replace the entire mug.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dispensing mechanisms wear out I have gone thru 2 auto seal handled mugs in aproximately 2 years, they have been great mugs untill the trigger mechanism wear out and no longer dispense coffee. I am now very disapointed with its mechanical longevity,, the cost $24.95 I expected better.

Lid & handle design better than others. Intriguing stopper/vent uses one hand. IF I keep it.... I'll have a warranty claim !!

After reading several other reviews, it appears this is a common problem. At this price point, I expect higher quality.

However, it suddenly started leaking rapidly around the plastic/steel interface. The rubber gasket seems to be intact but the leak is bad enough to render the mug useless. So sad.
