Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps ice all day. Kid tested. My daughter (6yrs old now) uses these as water bottles has had the same ones for a few years now. They take a beating and keep working. Seals well no leaks. Stays cold all day if cold beverage is put in with ice. Snap has been sturdy no breaking off as with others that stick up further. Happy customer.

Love that I can put it on my front car seat and not worrying that I'll have a wet seat next to me or it slipping out of my hands because the entire bottle is covered in condensation.

Use this product every day on my way to work, it keeps the drink piping hot (sometimes too hot so I have started to add a little cold water before sealing the lid) and I keep it on the front seat of my car. It has not leaked once and is extremely nice to drink out of on the go. Really would recommend.

The other day it burnt my finger forcing me to stop to find cold water to put on my hand. It's dangerous, only safe place is in the bin

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good traveler. Not happy with reliability This was purchased as a replacement for one I dropped in a parking lot damaging the metal lip. Another snapseal cup has a damaged seal so I used the lid of the damaged one to make it serviceable again. No response from Customer Service when I asked for help with the failing rubber seal on that one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mug! Seal is not great I love this mug! We have bought 3 in the last 8 months. Unfortunately, the seal has broken for 2 of them. We can sometimes get the black seal back in place but most of the time it leaks :( Keeps coffee and tea hot for hours. Really do love this mug just wish we didn't have the issue with the seals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best ever I have one for the last six months and it did it's job for the most time but now it leaks around the top cover it looks like the top area where a round black seal rubber was affected by the heat of coffee and got lose and now it leaks what ever I add to it I am ok but not satisfied with this item.

I got a pinched nerve in my thumb from trying and so sent them back. If you have strong hands (especially thumbs) these are probably great. I love the Westloops, but the tops are wearing out on about 6 of mine.

I ended up dropping this cup on the road and it didn't dent it.. For me, this cop doesn't really spill or leak.. I highly recommend this travel mug. I have 2 of them and I love them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sad ending... I have loved this mug! But sadly the rubber ring has started falling out and has caused several spills. I have taken care of the mug per instructions. I can no longer use the mug, but would love a replacement lid to be able to keep using it. It keeps my coffee hot which is very important to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap cheap cheap company unresponsive Very poor quality. Outer case is very weak aluminum and will dent with the slightest amount of force. Once dented bottom wobbles. Inquiries to Contigo are ignored. Second one ive returned to the store. This will be the last. Also when you pop open hold away because it will spray you in the face

My coffee stays hot my entire route. I use them for my ice water at home too. I have fallen asleep and woken up the next day to find it still full of ice. Worth every penny.

The Snapseal seems to keep my coffee warm for hours. I would recommend to anyone. I will never buy anything else for a hot beverage

However, it doesn't fit into a Subaru cup holder. More importantly - I'll fill it with SCORCHING-hot coffee before I leave the house, and within an hour, it's barely tepid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good mug except! I have two of the 20 oz mugs. My green one is now 4 years old and is still working great keeping my coffee hot for hours. My blue one also works great but the O ring is now stretched out and causes the mug to leak. It is less than a year old. Bring back the old O rings or offer replacements.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great out of the gate not much for staimina Quality product initially, but not willing to stand by them long term. need to back them up with replacement lids or have a seals kit the can be purchased to replace asthe rubber tip on the snap seal deteriorates and the rings can tear easily when cleaning. seems like a no brainer to me.

My husband works 12 hour days and I go to school and we use about 4-5 a day since they keep coffee hot and tea hot or cold. Great Product. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks. Since Day 2. Always. Leaking. I like this mug. It keeps hot things hot, and cold things cold. My issue is that it leaks. It leaks where the lid and body attach, sometimes out of the back of the mechanism to open it. I literally rubber band a paper towel around the outside because it will leak and get coffee everywhere.

I have had many issues with my lid and the seal coming up. this is the second travel mug that I bought just to have the seal come up again, only this time it took about 2 uses for it to break! contigo needs to fix this, completely unacceptable. i refuse to repurchase yet ANOTHER one..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Travel Mug. Keeps Coffee HOT!!!! Received a Contigo Byron Snapseal as a gift. I Love it. It is the best coffee cup I have ever owned. I use it at work everyday. It slides easily under the Keurig or Bunn, when the bottom trays are pulled out. I liked the cup so much, that I bought a Westloop and a Randolph. When sealed, these cups DO NOT LEAK! They also keep the heat in. In fact, the coffee from the Keurig at work needs the lid left off for 10 mins. before it gets to the temperature that I like it. Then I put the lid on and it stays perfect for a couple of hours. The design of the lids are Amazing! The Snapseal is the most simplistic and also hardest to clean. It may not be as fancy as the other Contigos, but gets the job done. In fact the only reasons I dinged it a star is: 1. The snapseal is harder to clean than the other cups. 2. For the insanely great job Contigo did in designing the leak proof lids, The metal cylinders are not universal. It would be nice if you could mix and match the lids and the stainless cups.

The 20 ounce leaks from between the lid and the mug when I take a drink from it, the 24 ounce does not leak with either lid on it. Seems like they need better quality control. I'd return the leaky mug but don't have the receipt anymore.

I have purchased more of the identical mugs in the last 2 years and the seal on the lids barely lasts a few months, I wish the sold replacement seals or lids. It sucks to have to buy a whole new mug so often.

And if you fill it with ice water, it last at least8 hours in my opinion with ice! Price isn’t too expensive as some brands. I love contigo coffee mugs!

(I clean the carpets) After purchasing one I was very impressed with how well it stays hot or cold. I have owned my mug for about 3-4 years and it still looks and performs as it did when new.

He's always traveling somewhere with his coffee, and finally he has the best travel mug available to avoid all of the leeks and spills that we all hate. My mug worked great until the tiny rubber ball seal disappeared one day, then drizzled all over me.

My hubby loves his Snapseal because it keeps his coffee hot for hours and hours. He makes a cup before bed and it's still hot the next morning when he wakes up!

I always am checking that it sealed by flipping the cup over, still haven't had an issue with this test yet. Best mug to buy.
