Durable, non plastic option, great for toddlers
I use these for both my 2 and 4 year old for a while now. The mechanism is simple enough they can both use it. I love the stainless steel, that the mouth piece is covered when it’s not in use. I have no had issues with leaking, unless it was not closed properly. But toddlers are toddlers (and the intended users for this product). My kids chew on the plastic spout which is now breaking down and falling apart. I came to the contigo site hoping to be able to buy a replacement, even if I had to replace the whole top. If I have to replace the whole bottle for just the spout, it’s excessively wasteful.

Can't replace lid
Very disappointed that I am unable to replace the lid. My son has chewed on the silicone spout. It would be even better if one could simply replace the spout. Such a waste to toss the entire thing. Purchased 2 months ago.

Leaks terribly
I bought two of these, as well as two of the plastic bottles. The plastic bottles don't leak at all (so far). However both the stainless steel bottles leak so badly I don't even want to use them. I definitely couldn't put them in a bag or take them anywhere (I did, my bag got soaked). Super bummed simply because I bought them for their reported "leakproofness"! And here we are, soaked and grumpy.

Love, but wish I could buy replacement lid
My kids and myself love the stainless steel water bottle but I came to the site to buy a replacement lid. My toddler chewed through it and now the handle just broke a couple days ago. Please sell replacement lids/parts!

Mold in spout
I love everything about it however it has mold under the spout a spot you can't clean.I wish I could just get a replacement cap but no I had to buy a whole new water bottle

Hardy bottles for toddler

VERY COLD, but BEWARE!
I love how extremely cold water stays in the bottle, but please BEWARE of what you put inside it! There is NO warning about this issue anywhere on the packaging. NEVER, EVER leave apple juice in it overnight, with either an open or closed spout. If open, the juice will develop enough pressure and leak out the spout. If closed... the juice will literally explode from pressure when you open the spout or unscrew the lid! It’s very dangerous and scary. I was very lucky that when I went to unscrew the top, it exploded and blew off!! Fortunately, it missed my eye, but hit my forehead and expelled liquid all over me, and onto the ceiling and walls of my hallway! So... I WILL ONLY USE WATER IN THESE BOTTLES!

Mold, mold and oh, yea, more mold
My kids absolutely love this water bottle and so we use it a bunch.. or should I say, used. After a couple of dishwasher runs I was really pleased with how many pieces the spout breaks down to for cleaning.. then I noticed pieces covered in mold that cannot be taken apart (the piece that secures the straw). I’ve done a bleach soaking, heavy wash in the dishwasher and sanitize run and still can’t get all the mold off. Tossing and will definitely not get another!
