Sad Lid :( Sad KidSad - I just wrote the review but not sure if I did it correctly. This cup I thought was great the first and second day. I realized though after putting some orange juice in it instead of plain water, that the orange juice was stuck in the lid. So then I submerged the lid in water and no luck getting it out. I followed some troubleshooting comments and no lunch either. So overall, it’s still wet from that day and has the orange juice in it still. And will not dry- I love their other products but not this one because of the lid. So now I sadly just use the cup and lid but then have to hold it for my daughter as she’s still pretty young.

Good idea but design flaw with lidI really love this cup for how it performs but unfortunately had to return it. The lid accumulates water in between the two plastic parts after washing and it does not dry! I have attached pictures of a two lids I left out to dry for SIX days and you can still see the condensation inside. This will surely lead to mold issues down the line. So disappointing because it really is a great cup otherwise.

Hard To Clean StrawMy kiddo absolutely loves this cup and we’ve had zero issues with it leaking on us. Keeps milk cold for hours. The only problem is that we’ve found milk can get stuck in certain places. We took the straw apart a couple days ago to get it clean and now we can’t get it back together. There’s a thin piece of silicone that keeps the milk from leaking but it was also trapping milk underneath. We got it out to clean it (thank goodness cuz it was gross) but we can’t get it to go back! I haven’t been able to find any replacement straws either so I think his cup is going to be out of commission for awhile. Such a bummer!

No more spillsMy kids are always knocking over the water cups at dinner time. Especially my five year old. He's very good at tipping every cup over on accident.
However, I switched him to this cup and we have not had one single spill! Gone are the days of mopping up drinks every night. When he knocks it over, there is just no mess.
I hate hand washing so I put it through the dishwasher and it held up just fine.
Personally I love the metal cups, they don't again and hold the smell like plastics do. It has a cool design on the outside so it catches my son's attention. He really enjoys having it.
I'm just really excited to have a truly spill free cup

Best toddler cup we've found!We've been through SO many "leak proof" cups that fail! This does occasionally drip some liquid, but the days of finding puddles of milk from our kids' cups are gone. We love that they aren't plastic and the double wall insulation eases my mind if my littles leave their milk out for a few hours. The straw is also nice and solid. My daughter will bite silicone stars in half and hand the piece to me. Not with this one, sister! I do hand wash but we've had no issues. I do wonder about the small valve in the lid and how to get condensation out from between the lid layers. I bought one on Amazon for each child and loved them so much that I ordered 4 more each from Contigo directly. I'm tossing all our other cups out!! Please make additional designs!

Lid traps moisture & can't be cleanedWe've loved this water bottle for a year, but despite only using it for water, the lid still trapped gunk & moisture. Finally took it apart to clean and the leak proof seal is impossible to put back in. So now the bottle is no longer leak proof. Major disappointment, especially since we had been recommending it to others! And replacement lids are not available for this model. Too bad.

Great bottle!!This water cup is amazing. It comes with a straw and is spill proof too. I like that I can remove the straw and wash it separate too. I gave this to my toddler to drink and he loves it. I have taken it everywhere in the car and it has saved me from my son spilling liquids all over my car. I love that the cup is stainless steel because for me is a better choice than the plastic ones. So far I have washed this by hand and air dried and it has worked for me. The style is very cute because my son immediately wanted to use it and was showing it off to his cousins. This is a really nice cup I really recommend it.

Love this cup!My 2 year old son loves this cup. I put ice and water in it at 8 a.m. and there is still ice by lunch time. Great cup! I just wish there was another design for boys, I would definitely buy another one.
