Love it
I've tried a number of water bottles, one with a filter that clogged. One I thought I'd like but I had to bite the mouthpiece to drink and it leaked like a sieve.
Complete impulse buy, looked it over and with fingers crossed, hoped I'd like it. I don't like it, I love it!
I don't have problems with leaks (except when I tried to drink soda from it.) I like the measurements on the side so I can track my water intake.
If I had one wish, I'd like to know how to remove the mouthpiece. I have little scrub brushes that do ok cleaning, but being able to remove the mouthpiece for cleaning would give me peace of mind.

Great until you lose the piece to make not leak
These are great! Don’t leak, hold plenty of water, easy to carry, etc. I bought this for my child who drinks sooo much water and we were tired of filling up a regular child size bottle. Well, it was leak proof until the tiny black little rubber piece went missing. Now it’s basically useless because if it gets too the water just drips right out.
I WISH this little piece was available for purchase. I would buy several to insure a tight seal and keep it leak proof.

Mold buildup in cap and no way to clean it
I love my Contigo water bottles I have a few of them I have found that I’ve had to throw a couple away because mold builds up in the cap with a straw goes in and you cannot clean it and my grandson was getting very sick from it because we only drink bottled water and he’s got some issues so he only likes to drink from these bottles. But I had to change the bottle because he left his at a friends house and it got misplaced my grandson hasn’t been sick for a while I checked my other bottles and realize that they are growing mold in the cover where the straw goes in and I’m really disappointed and I really think that you need to be more careful in the products you make and maybe use them for a while before selling them I wanted to use my lifetime warranty but it says that it cannot be used for cleaning issues so be very careful when you buy these bottles. I love that the bottles don’t leak the convenience of them is wonderful except I’m making my grandson and myself sick is there anyway I could get replacement caps or anything? I would really appreciate a response thank you

Problems with cleaning
I find this bottle very hard to clean it gets build up of mildew around the lid that’s hard to get rid of I clean my bottle often. I also notice black spots start forming in the straw when I was using it I was often getting sick for no apparent reason, once I changed my water bottle to a different contigo bottle I have stop getting sick it’s also a lot easier to clean.

Worst bottle ever
Mold and mildew impossible to clean. It’s constantly spitting water when you open it. And if you leave it open it continues to leak out and leave puddles. My husband and I both have one and they have the same problems, so its not a defect in mine

I love this water bottle so much i have had it since year 8 and im on love with it it feels nice to drink out of and it has laster so long but now it leaks but ive lowkey had it for 3 years so like oh well im buying another

Perfect.... except you can't clean it.
This has been one of my favorite water bottles I've ever owned. I bought it because it is perfect for airline travel. The loop handle clips into my carryon backpack. It doesn't spill. it is easy to use.
But. It is impossible to clean the drinking spigot. Mine now has black mold on it. I've tried bleach. I've tried pipe cleaners. Nothing helps.
I can not for the life of me figure out to remove the spout and order a replacement.
I've added a photo. Pretty yucky, eh?
