Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the design but… This is my second contigo luxe. The first one was black and the outside would easily chip and peeled off, but it kept my tea warm. The bit around the auto seal also came loose on my old one. I thought maybe the peeling was a “user error” from putting it in my cup holder, so I bought a second one. Unfortunately, this one has also peeled after a short time, and definitely does not keep my tea warm for 5hrs… maybe 2 before it starts to get cold. I think I’m going to have to give up on contigo and get a thermos or yeti. Despite saying “dishwasher safe” on the bottom of the mug, it definitely is not and that should not be included on the bottom of the mug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Thermos Ever Contigo is my personal leader in beverage containers. I love their products and haven't come across a better company who offers anything superior to what Contigo makes. That said, it should come as no surprise that I absolutely love my new Contigo Luxe with AutoSeal technology. It's great for people like me who take their hot beverages with them everywhere, such as the car (watch out for those speed bumps! They are out to spill your drink all over your car!) and a nice brisk walk in the cool weather. Every other brand of thermos leaks and spills, but not this bad boy! And it keeps drinks hot for 5 hours and cold for 12 hours! You can't go wrong with this, so go get one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you don't like this, there's no pleasing you! I've had a two of these for a couple of years. They've been dropped, the lids dented, the paint scratched and worn away all from daily use. These are the most reliable mugs I have ever owned. The fact that the lids are dented and still don't leak is a true testament to the quality of these mugs. As I have read through several of the lesser rated comments, I can only jump to a couple of conclusions: either some people feel like they are entitled to free stuff and complaining is the way to get that; or they are very miserable people who will find no joy in anything in life ever! I am actually going to be purchasing several of these mugs as gifts in the near future! Best GD mug ever!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sadly did not meet expectations I'm not sure what material the lid is made from, but that's exactly what my coffee tastes like. I initially thought it was the newness of the cup but after a month it's still the same. I have to wait til I'm at work and remove the lid to drink or else I have that awful taste and awful after taste. Love the look of the mug but it's useless if I can't enjoy my coffee

This is truly a leakproof travel mug and is so easy to drink out of.It seals perfectly every time.It does an amazing job of keeping the contents hot for four hours or cold for ten hours.Its stylish and the size is convenient to carry around with me.Fits perfectly in the cup holder without rattling.I love that both the lid and the body are dishwasher safe.I hand wash mine every time.The inside of the lid opens up for easier cleaning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice high quality travel mug The Luxe Travel Mug is simply the nicest mug I have ever owned, hence why the added Luxe to the name! This travel mug is great with a leak and spill proof lid, seriously!! It is a very nice quality, and doesn't look cheaply made! Love how insulated the inside is. It kept my ice from melting in 97 degree weather, and the last sip was as cold as the first. Easy to wash, just put it in the dishwasher! I have to say this has easily became my favorite travel mug, and I have been using it every day! Can't wait to use it to keep my coffee hot!! Why spend more on expensive mugs, when this one does the trick, for less!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great at retaining heat First the good: the design is sleek and feels good in the hand. Lid is easy to wash and paint has been good for now. However the main reason I bought this was to keep my coffee or water hot throughout the day. These bottles conduct the heat to the stainless steel lid making the kids extremely hot when holding hot liquid. Meaning they aren't insulating well. Boiling water will be drinkable in around an hour and be lukewarm to room temp in the 5 hours advertised. This is extremely disappointing and I have two of these and this happens on both. Still usable as an office but nothing close to our camping Thermos flasks for travel.
