Wonderful product
The Contigo AUTOSEAL West Loop Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug is a wonderful product. The durability of the mug is excellent. Of course, it is extremely portable. The best feature for me is it has incredible temperature retention and holds the same exact temperature of your drink even after several hours in extremely cold weather. It has super leak proofing material as well. Last but certainly not least, this mug is very easy to clean and dry prior to the next time you use it. All in all, it's a fantastic mug that would be a really nice addition to anyone's travel essentials.

My favorite travel mug
I received this product complementary for my honest review. The Contigo brand is good quality and reliable. This Vacuum - Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug is no exception. The design is simple and easy to use. The green glittery color stands out amongst the mostly steel colors of other brands. It fits in most cup holders. I love that it has a vacuum seal manual lock. When you are not drinking you can lock the mouth piece to avoid spilling. I have not see this feature in other mouth pieces. This is amazing for people on the go. It also keeps your drinks hot or cold for hours. I have been using this mug daily and don’t need any other ones now. Just knowing I have the ability to lock the mouth piece is great!

Tough and Practical
Look, I'm not usually one for fancy drinkware, but this Contigo travel mug has won me over. I'm pretty rough on my gear, and this thing can take a beating. I toss it in my gym bag, it rolls around in my truck, and it's still going strong. The big selling point for me is that it actually keeps my drinks cold. Iced coffee in the morning stays iced, and my water stays chilled even if I leave the mug in the truck for a bit (which, let's be honest, happens). The auto-seal lid is amazing. No more spills in my bag or on my seats – huge win. Plus, it just looks good. I went with the hammered agave metallic – it's got a cool, understated look. The Best
I cannot believe how long my coffee stays hot! I can leave it in my car while I go shopping or to doctor appointments or to church, and it’s always still hot when I return. Wouldn’t use anything else.

Lid jammed on second day
The lid stopped working on the second day. The button gets stuck open and no longer springs back closed. I tried contacting Contigo to see if there’s anything to try to fix it but they never responded.

And the winner is...
Years ago my Mother and I did a "project" together.We bought one of every travel mug we could find and wrote each other notes on their benefits and their pitfalls. We had great fun doing and I'm happy to report that the CLEAR WINNER was the Contigo West Loop! It even beat out the Contigo West Loop 2.0 for it's locking switch. We probably tested a hundred bottles, and now Mom is gone, and my cupboard houses 25 West Loops!
