Best bottle/cup I’ve ever used for my 10 monthMy daughter drinks so much water and gets impatient with sippy cups. I found this bottle at Walmart and loved the patterns. Since day one it’s been my favorite bottle. She drops it and doesn’t leak or break. It’s the perfect size and is able to hold it with her little hands. The straw is tilted towards her body so even when she tries to lift it up to drink from it, she still gets water (see picture). The parts do come lose but not off. Why does that matter? Because after you go through many bottles and cups you realize that the valves, the straws and the pieces all come lose and parts get lost or misplaced. This bottle doesn’t do that. You’re able to wash the parts and place them to dry. It’s such a good and thought out product! I’ll be buying more.

Best water bottle for kids who throw their cups.I love almost everything about this cup! It is easy to clean. It never leaks, even when a kid throws it. The only thing I don't like is that the spout can't be replaced like a camelbak bite valve. It also doesn't appear to be available to replace the entire top. Both of my kids tend to chew on the straws and the cups don't last nearly as long as they could if I could replace the spout/lid.

Very disappointed in this water bottleLoved it for 2 weeks, and then it stopped working, and so I opened the cup to figure out why it wasnt working and the bottom part of the spout had fallen apart.. I cant seem to fix that part, but the part I was most upset about is once the spout was out, it was covered in black mold in a part you cant clean. I clean as videos instruct daily. Soak in hot water with dish soap, then scrub with the brushes inside each part that is accessible. But this part is not accessible. I was disgusted. I put them all in hot soapy water hoping I could clean and put it back together, thinking maybe I was supposed to take it apart, but it does not go back together. So upset because these cups were a gift to my daughters and now not only are they broken, I'm just grossed out that black mold has been around my kids mouth daily.

Kid Favorite—But No Replacement LidThis is my son’s favorite water bottle and was so excited from the first moment! I came to this site hoping to find a replacement lid (kids and chewing rubber, am I right?). Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they sell replacement lids and is a consistent con among reviewers—my only disappointment as well.

NOT for BITERS or Teething childI am a mom of two, daughter is 22 months and son is 4 years old. Both loves to drink water and just water. I can tell you how many brands and water bottles I've gone through because they damage the straw/mouth piece. I've invested a lot of money in search of their perfect water bottle - why? Because they simply drink more water if they like the bottle and they prefer straw over spout. They're not teething anymore, but has a terrible habit of biting down hard. Contigo autospout is their first "big kid" bottle and the designs are so cute and functional. What I should've done is checked for feasibility to replace just the mouthpiece, I was unsuccessful in my search and reached out to the company for help. I was lucky that they offered a replacement for both blue and cotton candy, but you don't get a fedex tracking though just a notification email that it is mailed. Unfortunately one was lost and tried to reach back out for tracking info or assistance several times to no avail. But the replacement I did get was for the ENTIRE bottle, not just the cap or mouth piece, I was a little upset at how wasteful this solution was. Contigo - please think of a better replacement solution for parents like me, where I can purchase the mouth piece or atleast the cap like other companies. I understand making the mouthpiece removable is a concern for choking hazard, if you see how chewed off my daughter's bottle is you'll be more concern that's a choking hazard(the picture shows like 20% off, now it's like 70% but no longer being used).
Conclusion - If your child does not not chew/bite their bottle, this is a great choice!! But if they do, just know it's not bite-proof and replacement is not available in the market and it's done as a whole making it wasteful.
